Dr. Nakamura is a "brilliant" doctor but also kind and humble, which is a rate combination in the medical industry. Last year I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer stage 2 and currently under remission - Thank God. However, I had lots of UTI's and bladder inflammations during chemo. After suffering and being hospitalized every year with kidney stones and severe kidney infections, I finally found the right doctor to take care of the problem once and for all! Dr. Leah Nakamura is a warm and caring, individual who knows her profession extremely well. It’s her skills I trust and will again if need be. Thank you Dr Nakamura, you’re the best!

Dr Nakamura is such a wonderful doctor. I'm so grateful to my PCP for referring me to her. I've seen her in Hoag's Newport and Irvine offices; she and her staff are always helpful, compassionate and professional. Dr Nakamura gave me options for care, listened to my concerns and helped me make decisions that best suited my needs. I cannot recommend her enough!
I went to a rented space for a procedure. It`s a very personal and humiliating procedure to begin with. The room was stacked high with junk and the garbage cans were overflowing. yuck!! the apparatus they put me in was rusted and peeling. when i started to cry, the woman doing the procedure ignored me. She never once asked if I was OK. I tried to get through it, but parts of it was so painful I couldn`t. I just got out of there as quick as I could !!
