The doctor spends 5 minutes with patients, but is always 3 hours late, which is criminal. UPenn needs to look into this, if they are over pressuring the physician or she is just keeping patients waiting for her academic activities which is highly unethical. This has been happening to us on consistent basis, and we expect phone call from staff to come late if she is late. Having to wait 3 hours EVERYTIME for a five-minute rushed visit is not only unfair for the patient, but also their caregivers. I recommend the UPENN leaders... read more

She’s awful. Dishonest. Doesn’t help her patients when in need. Staff is rude. Especially Rachel.

Dr. Mahmoud is highly skilled and knowledgeable, but also patient and reassuring. I felt safe and cared for throughout the whole process.

I waited 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours to be seen at each visit. She did not examine me prior to surgery and did not do a good job of the actual surgery

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Mahmoud after I was diagnosed with stage II colon cancer at the age of 46. My gastro physician made the arrangements for me to go to her office within a week of my new diagnosis. After sitting in the office for quite sometime, Dr. Mahmoud spent about an hour with me, explaining what was next to come. Although I don't appreciate waiting in a physicians office for an extended period of time, the wait was well worth it in the end. Dr. Mahmoud is a wonderful doc.

She is horrific, I would have walked out but I was in tears from how disrespectfully I was treated that I couldn’t leave.

Dr. Mahmoud gave my mother great care. She operated on her at 88 years old and gave her years to spend with her family. Great doctor, great bedside manner
