I've been going there for about 4yrs Hi I have been getting my nails done at this particular Nail Spa Excel for at least 4 years. Although I do agree that it is starting to become run down, I have always had excellent services. Those of you who have had negative experiences should find out from those of us who have had excellent experiences who they should use. Two words Foot fungus!!!! I got some sort of weird crap under my toe nails after visiting this place. They did do a great job on my eyebrows though. I will never go back.
Bad acrylics! I went here on a whim with my brother and sister in law. They wanted pedicures which they were both happy with. I had gel nails that needed filling. They said they could do it. I sat down and a man started working on my nails. He told me that gel nails I had were bad and I needed acrylics instead. He wouldn't do the all gel nails and instead put acrylic with gel overtop. You get what you pay for, I guess. The do an OK manicure/pedicure, though they are inconsistent (some operators are better/worse than others). The interior used to be nice, but the chairs are all held together with duct tape and look dirty now. Worstis the waxing service. I let the waxing lady talk me into having my arms done a few weeks ago, and I came out with multiple bruises (and have not had that happen elsewhere). Cheap, and cheap results.
i dont know what to think of them???? i just got a full set of acrylic nails at nailspa. sam did a good job and they were very pretty. although they used used files yuk and i had to argue with them over the stated price they say thirty but everything you look at is 5 dollers more gel top coat, pink with sparkles you could walk out of there spending a fortune if you dont listen carfully. also i took my six year old daughter and they kept carrying her around hugging her and kissing her. i appriciated that they thought she was ... read more
Nailspa Excel is getting cheap but moderate workers. Cindy does an AWESOME job but she does not work here anymore. She rented her own station, call or text her for appointments only 7146039697. She is the only person I truly trust. Speaks English very fluent, as others may say. She does very excellent job waxing, and acrylic, or pedicures. She does wax and acrylic more than mani or pedis but still an incredible job. Her arent cheap but very reasonable. Give it a try! I love her, been seeing her for 2 years.
Rip Off and Zero Service This was my first and last visit to this nail shop. First the only reason I went was they are open until 7:30. I had a pedicure and manicure with a design on toes only. $37..wow..the basic services that you get at other salons were an up sell here. They tried to sell every possible service they could which was annoying. I had the callous remover done, though my feet weren't that bad, they did need a little attention. NailSpa Excel I like this nail salon. They did do a fantastic job on my nails. I have been coming here for a couple of years so I do trust them. And I have not met anyone there who did a crappy job. However, they always try to push you to get other services done but I think that's the only annoying thing. In addition to Saskia's comment about their furniture, it is starting to get a little run down.
The best pink and white full set I got a full set of pink and whites with gel, and am very happy with the out come. The lady that did my nails is Cindy. She's the only one that speaks and understand english fluently. She did my nails the way I explained it, She also did my waxing and is great at it too. She was not distracted by other employees there. The prices are reasonable, and I will continue going back to see her.
