My hunch is that if you are a member of the LGBTQ community or even perhaps black or a male DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO SEE THIS SO CALLED DOCTOR!! I drove 21 miles to go see this so called doctor. I can not believe that Keck Hospital of USC has her as a member of their faculty of doctors. I arrived 20 minutes ahead of my scheduled appt time. Dr. Elbuluk is an excellent dermatologist. She is very knowledgeable and really listens to the patient. I am so thankful that USC has a dermatologist that specializes in patients of color.
Doctor is booked months in advance. I waited 3 months to be able to see her but no worries, I know these kind of things tend to happen in bigger hospitals. What annoys me is that after waiting 3 months, she was 30-40 mins late to see me after being called into the room from the waiting room. On top of that, she rushed the entire appointment and would catch an attitude when I had questions or wanted more clarification on what the plan for care was.
