Mystic River Ambulance rescued us, but not in the usual way. Our car broke down one rainy night on the highway 123 miles from home and we limped it to the closest exit. A Mystic River ambulance drove by, stopped and said we could leave our car in their parking lot. Chuck, one of the volunteers, let us in the building and even offered to make us dinner while we waited for our daughter to come and get us from Cape Cod. We broke down right in front of their station. Chuck took us in and helped us get our car safe. Beautiful people!!
