Fishy Education The Mystic Aquarium is made up of mostly huge tanks with a variety of water creatures inside. They do have a great variety of animals however their exhibits are somehow not quite so entertaining as those at the Norwalk Aquarium. The hands-on exhibit is very interesting and a nice opportunity to learn about the sea creatures. The Mystic Aquarium also get a bit more traffic than the Norwalk Aquarium which means more people and sometimes lines to get to the exhibits.
Very Educational I remember going here on school class trips and having a great time, now my kids have the same fun. In addition to the huge aquarium, they have trained sea lion shows, as well as dolphins and whales. Exhibits outside include penguins, puffins and walruses. Go check it out, you won't be disappointed!
fun The shows are so much fun. I definately say take your children they will love it. So interesting, the animals are incredible. The price is a little pricey but i say its well worth it. They are so fun, very educational and your little ones will love the seals they are so funny. It is a beautiful place you will ove it.
Great place for the kids This place is an awesome trip for kids of all ages. The park is just the right size, and the price is reasonable. they have everything organized and it makes sense so you can see everything. the kids loved seeing the Beluga Whales in the tanks right when you walk in.
aquarium What a fun time with the family. The best part was seeing my daughter touching a baby alligator and the sting rays. It was priceless. Her cousins and her had a ball. So may different sights.
lots of fun The Mystic Aquarium is a great take in! There are plenty of animals admire, shows to see, and exhibits to explore. I'd highly recommend taking the guided tour through the aquarium. A knowledgeable tour guide will walk you through the whole park, and even take you behind the scenes to places that not everyone gets to see!
Excellente! I have been going to the mystic Aquarium for three years now with my kid and cousins at least once every month and we just can't get enough. There are a wide variety of animals. You get to learn intresting facts about them every day, and oh the kids have fun too. Affordable, unique, great for a family outing PROS: Great plece, loving animals, good people CONS: none
Swim with the Beluga's! Mystic never ceases to amaze me. They are a home for injured animals that could not make it into the wild, and they also have on call rescue workers, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, that respond to animal emergencies. Aside from that, they have encounter programs where you can swim with a beluga whale, or interact with a penguin -- all educationally based programs. A very fun place to visit Mystic Aguarium is a fun and educational place to visit. They have a wide veriaty of sea animals. They also have rides, gift shops and great food. My daughters favorite part was the sea lion show where you acually get to see the sea lion do all different tricks live. If you want to have tons of fun with the family then Mystic is the right place.
