Dr. Richardson is my little guys hero! My chihuahua’s eye ruptured after hours so it required an emergency visit. Along with the help of their amazing Vet Tech Veronica, my fur baby was taken in right away and they were more concerned about his well being rather than stressing me with the bill. In the end his emergency visit was less than what I was originally quoted from the vet clinic that I normally go to and Dr. Richardson even stayed over-night with my little guy to make sure he was ok after the surgery. My dogs leg was broken and Myrtle Ave Vet was the closest option to bring her to. The staff got us in to see Dr Richardson right away when we got there, took action to stabilize the leg, and helped us organize out of area surgery. After surgery in Redding we were at the vet every week for follow ups- the staff was always super helpful, kind to our dog, and made sure every thing was taken care of. Even though it was a busy holiday weekend, someone took my call and helped me with my questions about a very sick little dog. They got us an appointment ASAP and despite being super busy everyone was very professional and friendly. I appreciate these folks so much!!
My experience yesterday was not as good as I had hoped. Brought my two five-month-old kittens in to have their distemper and rabies vaccines. The tech took them in the back to get their shots and to weigh my kittens. A few minutes later, another tech brought my cats out to me in the front waiting room, but didn't say a word. I waited and waited for someone at the desk to Bill me , and I also was going to pick up more Revolution. So, I finally had to go up to the desk before someone helped me. Always fast yet thorough! Dr. Richardson cares so much about your pets as if they were one of his own! He explains everything in detail and in terms you can understand. I have been going to the vaccine clinics for years but had a small emergency yesterday. They got me and my dog in immediately and even though they were busy he didn't cut any corners in the care of my dog. He even personally called the next day to check in on my dog. The Vetranains bedside manor was mean but they helped my two cats Curly and Moe that are seniors I have to go back on Monday for a recheck if not check there kidneys
