Had an eye emergency and booked an appointment at a new My Eye Doctor since my regular one was busy. Booked online over an hour in advanced, then received a call from a rude receptionist “why are you on our schedule?” I explained that my eye is messed up and my regular place is booked out today and the urgent care said to book an eye appointment. she said “so you already went to urgent care…” and i was like yeah that’s why I’m calling. They have the best customer service.
Just moved to Cary and Made an appointment online to have my vision checked and get new glasses at this location. Received a call the morning of the appt and was very rudely asked why I was coming in. “You just had an exam in May, why are you making an appointment”? When I told her I needed new glasses and would also like an exam to verify my prescription hadn’t changed, she told me the appt I made was no longer available. Schedule my appointment, learned the day before it was a Teladoc appointment. I went anyway because it was scheduled the same day as my physical. Appointment started at 3:20, at 4:30 they asked me to reschedule due to technical issues. The local staff were apathetic and the remote staff did not even acknowledge that I was in the room as they said, “call support” and hung up the phone. Be wary of MyEyeDr. They have a below 3 rating for a reason.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this location on high house rd!! I had my eye exam on January 12, 2026, where my right-eye contact lens prescription changed. I was told at that visit that trial lenses would be ordered so I could try them and then proceed with ordering my annual supply, as I always do. Time passed with no call or follow-up.
