I will be having surgery with Dr. Shegog next month. I feel confident that she will take good care of me. She is knowledgeable, friendly, good at communicating and explaining. She walked me through the procedure, PreOp, post op, PT, pain, meds, my mri, and left room for questions. She spent a significant amount of time talking with me. I had an awful experience and hope Kaiser takes some action. She had already made up her mind before seeing me, didn't even perform an assessment. Gave me barely any instructions, telling me to have turmeric and vitamins as treatment, she was in such a hurry and almost argumentative and judgemental. She wouldn'tet me talk, wouldn't let me explain my condition. She clearly doesn't care about the wellbeing of her patients and seems like is only based on numbers. If I could give Dr. Shegog 0 stars I would. She does not care about my mental health and the first thing she did when she entered the room was yelled at me telling me for the rest of my life I will “feel” my injury and that I will never be the same. She is a terrible healthcare provider and her lack of judgement causes more harm than the actual injury itself. Highly recommend seeking a different provider if you value your quality of life.
Dr Shegog was extremely reassuring in her analysis of my (broken collarbone) situation and offered good advice going forward. She spent more time with me than was allocated and explained my choices and options very well. I look forward to receiving continuing care from her.
If I could give her a zero I would she was very cocky and likes to argue with the patients and there family’s has very poor bedside manners and will give you as little information as possible after surgery. I never met a doctor that seemed to care so little about there patients and more about her ego and for her to treat kids is crazy.
