I worked for Mutual of Omaha in Texas under Mike F an Gary an they were always helpful and I was never pressured in to buying leads.When I left for health reason, a year later I got a check for my renewals. I would work for Gary S or Mike F. Selling life insurance is a hard field, but you get in front of enough people. And have appointment. You can have a nice income and business.

Do not do business with this office. I worked there for 3 months and it was an awful experience. Gary Simmerly pressured agents into buying leads he purchased. He said that when you "finance" (earn \$3500 in commission) the company would give you \$1,500 for marketing which you would then payoff your lead account. Unfortunately, Mutual of Omaha has very stringent underwriting and I had 70% of my applications declined so I did not finance within the 3 month time limit. I declined policy. Instead of refunding my premiums, my account is still being debited! His rep wont return my call. I had to call the 800 number to take care of this matter. I am still waiting for return of premiums. I dont know if this style of business is a reflection of Mutual Of Omaha or just Garry Simmerlys shoddy way of doing business!!!
