I’ve lived in the neighbourhood for years and Mutiny is one of the places remaining that still anchors the true old Broadway feel as the area has seen some change. One of those left that established the area as unique, cool, and diverse. This establishment offers it up big, with a fantastic management and staff, unusual finds in books and records, coffee, music and much more. I continue to love my neighbourhood because of places like this.

Mutiny is my go-to for coffee and used books. I have had great conversations with staff and other patrons on wide-ranging subjects, but I can also work unbothered when I need to, which is a nice balance. They're good people and a great local business that supports local community (especially comics artists/writers and musicians!).
