Besides the offensive smells of patchouli and B.O. that permeated the place? I was floored by the pretentious, superior attitude of the millennials working and spending money there. It Only took about 4 seconds to realize they’re all brainwashed fools who couldn’t debate their way out of a recycled wet paper bag. Pathetic, generic souls.

Those of us that live in this amazing historic neighborhood feel grateful AF to have such a gem of a business forge on when so much of "old Denver" is being sold and revamped. Mutiny chooses to thread community in so many vital ways-- through coffee, duh, love of books, news, history, music, supporting other local artists and merchants, the list goes on. Every time I walk in here, it is liked living my entire childhood over again. I can browse the comic books to remember being so young as that. The book collection really covers everything. The Star Wars/live pink decor reminds me of my one tome dorm room. Vinyl and cassettes from back in the day in the shelf. If you were ever an angsts alt teen in the ‘80s, ‘90s or early ‘00s then this is your place. I go there now wi5 other teachers to grade and do others mandatory paperwork. Love this place.
