What is a fact is that chef Cindy Pawlcyn, who has since been influential in the creation of many other Bay Area restaurants, started here and is still involved in kitchen operations at her flagship restaurant. The atmosphere at Mustards is upscale roadhouse with an airy dining room and walls that are almost entirely made of windows. The staff is lively and and efficient.

My friends and I enjoyed an evening here at Mustards Grill. We started with cocktails from the bar, the bartender is quick, precise,personable and makes drinks that are creative and delicious. Once seated, our server was professional, very friendly and offered us the nightly specials. She was fluent in her knowledge of the food. We had the longest lunch ever due to our server that was not very attentive and in a slow motion to bring up the stuff we need! It’s a good thing that we didn’t have to go back to work. The server basically either forgot all about us or he is just simply slacking! But I still gave that server a really good tips over 20%. The food was very good but I ordered a steak and asked for medium well but it came back RARE!
