I was a student there two - three years ago . I’m not sure who still works there but it honestly was the best months to actually have people who care and who are there to listen . I suffered with panic disorder and severe anxiety . The two people who helped me the most was Mrs . Jenna and Mr. Ronald. As someone who's here, it's ok I just wanna go back to school and like 6months?
This place is great. I see the negative posts but my child is always excited to got to her program. We have been at star for a few months and have had great improvements at home. If referred I definitely recommend. Also Cindy is great. I'm usually very picky person but this has been nothing but positive experience.
My child was dismissed from the program after 4 days. He was disruptive they said and he wasn't ready to be in the program I asked what he did and they said he left group for 10 minutes and then returned. He used foul language. If my child didn't have issues why would he be sent to star? This place is a joke. They just flat out didilike my kid and by the way the social workers are horrible (Cindy and Jena) Do not bring your child here it is absolutely a horrible experience.
