I have been a patient of Dr Murray's since last October. I could not be more pleased with him, his staff, and the care that they have provided to me. From the moment I arrive, until the moment I leave, everyone treats me with care, compassion, and heartfelt good wishes for my recovery! If there was anything that I would improve upon, it would be the hospital that he uses for his surgical procedures.

Dr. Murray has been treating my mom for over twenty years. She had ocular melanoma and, many years later, a stroke in her other eye. My mom is now 85 years of age and has almost perfect vision, thanks to Dr. Murray and his team. He also treats me for macular degeneration which he caught the second it went from dry to wet. He also sees my husband and son for other issues. We have received the absolute best care available and are thankful for Dr. Murray and his team.

I have been going to this doctor for four years after 3 retina detachments in my left eye. He operated on my left eye and it is still stable to this day, and he also did laser procedures to make sure the retina in my right eye was sealed and it hasn’t detached. He also diagnosed me with Retinopathy of Prematurity which explained all the symptoms I was having before I was going to him. Excellent! He is an expert in his field. He has treated my husband since 1993. My husband would not see any other physician for his eye treatment

I have been seeing Dr. Murray since 1999 when he was at Baskin Palmer for a Uveal melanoma which was diagnosed. The tumor encircled the optic nerve. Even with this situation and treatment, I still retain vision. Yes, I have had complications and cataract surgery since, but what do you expect for 20 years of treatments? I still visit him from North Florida for regular injections of Avastin. For 20 years of retained vision, I would highly recommend him. Even if you have to fly to Miami!

Six weeks of pain, discomfort and loss of vision with a cataract operation. Went to Bascom Palmer and saw the Department Chief of oncology and one of the best cataract surgeons in the country. They couldn’t account for his diagnosis of an eye condition, the multiple procedures he did during the cataract operation and his desire to do a cataract surgery on the other eye which is totally unwarranted. Murray mandated I see him twice a year, whereas Bason Palmer will see me once a year. Zero stars.
