Dr. John Sallee is a FIVE STAR doctor. I am sorry but whoever gave him just one star, is either working for someone else or they smoke crack.
I have been going to Dr Sallee for a few years now. He is the best Psychiatrist I've been to. He takes time to listen and is always kind and respectful. His office staff are so sweet and patient as well. I hope I never have to change doctors.

Dr. Sallee was very professional, yet personable, during my first-visit evaluation. He actively listened to everything I had to say and asked appropriate questions. His office staff are very helpful and personable, but they do seem a bit overwhelmed at times. If you have questions, I feel it's best to visit their office directly as you will not always receive a call back if you leave a voicemail. Overall, I definitely recommend Dr. Sallee's office. You'll be hard pressed to find significantly better treatment in the area.
If you want a excellent psychiatrist who wants you to feel normal as you can be with your condition then he is the doctor for you. He is very compassionate with his patients and understands your concerns best psychiatrist in Murray by far.
I've seen him since the day he come to Murray. He is easy to talk to, listens and cares about his patients. As a female I thought it might be difficult taking to a man but it's not. He has compassion and it very concerned with getting me back to the value of life I need mentally! I'm very grateful to this Dr.
Office staff is so calm, polite, and go above and beyond to be kind. Doctor Sallee is not a therapist so he will not take much time talking. But he is thorough and excellent at helping to manage medication. Very helpful and office is very clean and welcoming!
