Terrible Experience! We arrived about 7:00 to eat, have a few beers and watch the hockey game. Our waitress was very nice but the bartenders and all other male staff were very unfriendly...especially the bartender with the ponytail who acted like we were bothering him and when asked for a beer recommendation condescendingly informed us that he only drank lager and didn't know anything about the 30 or more beers listed on the wall - what???? DOG HAIR This place should be closed. The food there so bad my girlfriend had to get up and leave when it finally came to the table. It had a long black hair mixed in with her fries to beat it all. I asked that it be taken away and was told I would have to pay for. I have gray hair and my friend has blond. The owner came to the table to see what was going on and he was covered in DOG hair GROSS. Please stay away.
High prices AND Nasty I have to disagree with others who have reviewed this restaurant. It is without a doubt, one of the nastiest restaurants i've ever eaten from... With the higher prices, i was expecting something fabulous, but ughh..disgusting..
Great Atmosphere! This is a fun, casual restuarant. I love the veggie burger and there are some great sandwiches on the menu. Of course, the biggest St. Patrick's Day party in Boone happens here!
Murphy's Murphy's in downtown Boone is a great place to stop in for a bite to eat after a football game or shopping on King Street. My husband loves their wings! The last time we went there the service was so-so, but the food was good. Their prices are reasonable and they have many different items to choose from. One of the best things about Murphy's has always been the variety of musicians that you can find playing at night.
cute This is a really cute little place in Boone. The food is really good (not the best in town but still good). Remember Boone is a dry town, but that effects all the restaurants as well.
