The doctor and his staff were very pleasant and efficient. I have some medical background. The excision and closure were done very skilfully. The assistants were equally professional.
I was impressed with how nice everyone was. Dr. Murphy made me feel comfortable with the procedure. He even called me at 8pm that evening to see how I was doing. I am so glad it went to him. I will recommend him to others.
Dr. Murphy and his staff were very caring during my appointment this week. I have a tendency to have a vasovagal response during some medical treatments. I felt my blood pressure drop and got very hot and sweaty during the stitching procedure. Dr. Murphy and his staff went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure I felt comfortable. They knew exactly what to do to keep me from fainting. Dr. Murphy and Kim were so reassuring during the whole procedure. Dr. Murphy even gave me a follow up call that evening!
My first skin cancer experience (as a 31 year old) turned out to be a basal cell carcinoma on my forehead that resulted in a multi-stage Mohs surgery requiring a skin graft at the end (taken from my clavicle). Dr. Murphy and his staff were very knowledgeable and caring. They helped to ease my nerves and did the best they could to minimize the damage. A year later and most people can't even see the scar upon first glance (having bangs does help). They did a fantastic job and I would recommend!
Very thorough and makes you feel as comfortable as possible during the procedure.
I was not impressed with Doctor Murphy. He checked my skin in about 2 /seconds and said I was ok. I had two spots I was concerned about on my face and he looked again and then decided to freeze one of them, didn't do anything to the other one. There are places on my body he couldn't have even seen and I had to ask about one of them. The staff was very nice, but I felt like he was just running patients thru. I won't be going back.
