We got seats to the Motown show and the seats are so tight and close together there was hardly any room to move around. Other then that it was ok
My first visit here was wonderful. From the parking attendant to the concession area. The greeters were so knowledgeable and informative. Every one was very professional. Motown Musical was excellent. The lighting, acting. Singing and seating. I will surely be back for other events.
Always enjoy the venue for whatever show in whatever theatre! (It was great for my youngest daughters' wedding as well!)
So last night I took my family to see Motown:the Musical. It was actually my daughter's first "real" theatre experience. The show did not disappoint! It was FANTASTIC!! A little long, but still Fantastic! What wasn't fantastic was a lot of our fellow theatre goers. Let me explain.... RecommendedThis was a great show! I thought it started off kinda slow, but the 2nd act was fantastic!
The show was fantastice-you need to redo your seats-need new padding -very unconfortable
Although I know this is an old historic theater we went to see Motown the Musical and the performance was incredible, the sets and sound was over the top excellent. The reason for my rating was that I feel two things: 1. We sat in the balcony and it was freezing. Everyone in the theater was complaining and no staff seemed to care. Our group all came home with colds. The air vents need cleaned in the bathrooms which were caked full of dust. Dinner & show package was great. However, the package should also include reserved parking. Because I had to park in the overflow lot, I will think twice about purchasing the dinner & show package in the future.---Discouraging
We had a great experience. The ushers were helpful to me getting my mother settled. She rode her scooter into the theater. The usher helped her into the seat and tucked her scooter away. Plus they checked on us during intermission to make sure we were okay.
