I'm so grateful to Dr. Murali Moorthy for his top-notch care. I've found him to be great listener, highly skilled and kind, positive person. I recently moved to Walnut Creek and was fortunate to find his clinic. I had a hardware removal surgery and he did a fantastic job. My stitches are really clean and healing great. I've seen 3 doctors regarding a turf toe issue. I was forced to receive an MRI from Muir Orthopedics because of my insurance. Dr. Moorthy was the worst of these 3 doctors by an absolute landslide. His bedside manner was rude and offensive. He spent 30 seconds to 1 minute reviewing my MRI and did this with the door open. I felt like a complete inconvienence to him. He gave me his opinion and stated that I didn't need surgery and then proceeded to walk out before I could ask him about PRP/Stem Cells. I was honestly astonished ... read more
Terrible bedside manner. Didn't even shut the door to examine me. Didn't listen to my concerns. Didn't order any tests or therapy, only offered a shot. I wanted to fix my problem, not cover it up! Would never see him again nor recommend him to anyone else.
Terrible bedside manner, was impatient and abrupt with me. Did not bother to explain alternative treatments. Save yourself the headache and don't waste your time seeing this doctor. This doctor promotes alternatives to surgery, but yet I was told surgery to remove an old tibia plate is my only option. Whatever, this doctor certainly will not perform surgery on me, I have zero confidence in him. This facility is nothing more than surgery chop shop.
Saw Dr. M about six months ago for plantar fasciitis in my right foot, I also told him about pain on the top of my left foot which seemed swollen. He spent about 5 minutes with me & told me (without exam or xray) that I had a bone spur on my left foot. 6 months later when I saw my GP, I told her about my foot, she said that it did not sound like a bone spur, & sent me for xrays. I do not have a bone spur. Dr. Moorthy rushed thru my appt., will find someone more thorough to treat this pain now
He rushed through my appts. Never requested info from surgeon..Actually told me to go get my files, never ran tests, wouldn't ever see this quack again
I did not feel as though I gained much insight in regards to my MRI. Dr. Moorthy kept cutting me off, and made me feel like I was wasting his time. I ended up having to ask him to tell me what specifically was wrong with my ankle because he did not tell me.
I had a bad ankle fracture. He was very caring and did a great job of fixing my ankle so that it works well.
