Family member presented with high heart rate, oxygen levels far below 90, called PCP @ Foster Family for sick visit and avoided ER because illness is chronic. This patient was barely ambulating. Not even standing up straight, struggling to breathe. Receptionist as always, dismissive and unconcerned, tried to tell him because he didn’t arrive early he was going to have to wait until 2pm until the PCP called him in for his appointment anyways. Picked this facility for hope of ease of access for labs and imaging as needed. The front desk staff along at this facility were awful enough to cause me to leave. Communication in this office is a joke, messages to providers are jumbled and only including bits or pieces of the initial message. Lab results usually don’t receive a timely callback. Contact usually takes 3-4 rounds of phone tag to get one of six questions answered. Check in staff will also delay helping or assisting if you arrive even a few minutes past there r... read more

After signing on to be followed by Dr. Barnwell I felt my needs would be met. WRONG! After meeting with my new physician I believed we were on the same page. Unfortunately my new Doctor then went on leave and when I contacted the office to get refills on medication. I was told they would NOT REFILL medication. There was NO follow up from office & I spent 2 long days in chronic pain. I had even agreed to try other medications which made me sick for 2 weeks.
