Wound care failure I had a very serious medical condition that required prolonged wound care following hospitalization. While the staff I interacted with were generally polite, I was repeatedly told insurance was covering my treatment, and to not worry about it, only to months later receive more extremely large surprise bills. As a first time paient I was scheduled for an appointment then called and said the doctor could not do it okay I understand things come up. So the appointment is made for the following week. The next day I get a call saying they have to change it because they have no providers that day. And make it 2 weeks out mind you I have a hole in my leg that is 7cm x7cm and 3cm deep. And the whole time I am talking to the receptionist she is laughing. They are not the ones going or waiting to go through this process.
