Very slick operation, I felt like I was buying a car! When calling I was passed around to several different people. For a two hour appointment I saw the doctor maybe 10 minutes and felt like I was a number and he was off to the next potential buyer. The last person I saw tried to upsell me to a $5000 out of pocket procedure I didn’t really need because I don’t work on a computer and when she saw I was only going for the $2000 upgrade it was the end. A year ago Mujahid A. Hines M.D., took care of my cataracts. In the process he replaced my lenses with corrective lenses. I've been near blind most of my life. I could not be happier. My vision is now 20/15! I waited a year to write a review, "just in case." LOL He was awesome and I'm thrilled. To think I went most of my life wearing very thick glasses when this procedure exists! I took my mother today to for a follow up regarding her lasik procedure. Right away, the doctor and medical assistant were very unprofessional. They were giggling and laughing to each other because my mother didn’t want to do the cataract procedure that costs 18k. When my mother rejected the cataract and wanted to do the lasik, they doubled price because “cost of living”, “inflation” and because, and I quote, “that’s the way it is” which was said from the doctor. I was in the waiting room and heard a man yelling and a loud sound like someone kicking a door or something. I thought it might be a patient. I saw one of the nurses trying to hide that she had been crying when I was taken to see the doctor. It was Dr. Hines who was yelling. I could barely hold in my contempt and I didn’t want to get angry with him and then have him take anything out on someone. He seems to be good at his job, to give him credit. However I will never, ever visit again.
