Lived there for 2 years. Quick Pros and Cons Pros: -Location is nice -Nearby neighborhood is great for running and walking -Allows Dogs and cats -Offstreet parking right by apartments was nice -Apartment came with Dehumidifier Cons: -Raises rent by $80-$100+ a month after each year -Maintenance is inconsistent. Mainly due to having 1-2 people for multiple properties. Some issues took a few days to get fixed, but other took over 3 months -Black Mold in the vents. I would not recommend this building/landlords. They refuse to correctly and appropriately clean/shovel/salt. Then they blame you as the tenant..doesn’t make sense. Happy to take our money but not happy if you fall because of their neglect and still blame you. Yeah don’t rent here. Oh and yeah…someone burned down the trash so they took more space away from everyone who lives here to instead build another garage or two so they can get even more money. If you require maintenance at all, expect a 1-2 month wait. Maintenance people are good, they are just spread way too thin. Check your apartment for black mold if you do decide to move in, because they don't take care of it or try to hide it. Also, they raise the rent by $100-150 after your first year. Property manager doesn't answer calls. Update: Serious Issue got fixed, but the extended wait time along with zero communication is not professional
DONT LIVE HERE. Let’s go back, our apartment had a leak coming from the utility closet that was black gross water, they came and tried to fix it 4 times. It never got fixed, after we stated it wasn’t fixed we were ignored (calls, texted, emails) for 1 1/2 weeks. We had to go to the office downtown to talk to anyone and they said it would be a priority. A month later still not fixed, come to find out it’s sewage water. Our stuff is all ruined. I lived at Muir heights for about three years and have nothing but nice things to say. I felt safe in the neighborhood and it on a very quiet street. They are very pet friendly and provide stations with bags and a garbage can to pick up pet waste throughout the property. The manager, Lisa, is amazing. She is incredibly kind and understanding. I asked to stay past the end of my lease due to some difficulties with the new place I was supposed to be moving to. She allowed me to stay, and without her kindness I would have found ... read more
