Great staff I was recently referred by a friend since my last Vet was horrible I decided to give Muir Oaks a chance.The facility is beautiful and very clean;receptionists were very polite; rooming nurse was very sweet and had a lot of medical and nutrition advice.Dr.Utt was my Vet and she was amazing!...I will definetly bring my pets in for more services in the future.
scorned five times i was referred to this vet by someone who has also changed their views on how they work.1. i brought my cat in who has suffered from an eye injury since birth. i was told there was absolutely nothing wrong with her. she is now seeing another vet who does have her on eye treatment to stop her eye bleeding.2. i brought my dog in for shots and an exam and was charged for a fecal exam that never happened. we had also turned down this exam. it took two phone calls and an argument with the office manager to take... read more
16 years at this vet and I still use them. My family has been taking various pets over the years to Muir Oaks. I was with them at their old location with my parents, and I am with them now at their new location with my husband, puppy and cat. When my husband and I got our puppy last year, we discovered the hard way that our puppy is very sensitive to injections and reacts to most of them. Too expensive, very pushy for unnessary tests, fees, visits & services Find another vet unless money is no object. We went there based on reviews from this and other sites when we were new to the area, and they were very close. Everytime my wife goes in, they try and sell her services and extra's not at all relatedto her current visit, or the animals they are currently looking at. She has left everytime felt like been acosted, and had to pay for it! The care is good, but quality care and the same meds can be found much cheap... read more
Very pleased I have been going to Muir Oaks for about 1 1/2 yrs. We recently lost a cat in Sept to heart failure and Muir Oaks did everything they could to help him. I brought him to nursing care since he would not eat and they hand fed him and fell in love. Every night I picked him up and they just raved about him.
Have always been pleased. We have two dogs we've brought in to this clinic on several occasions for regular issues and emergencies both. The helpful attitude of the staff and doctors both have always been outstanding. I was sorry to read the review of Ms. N, in fact troubled, but I have never had anything close to the experience that she did with this vet.

Beautiful hospital, down to earth doctor I've been searching for the perfect place to take my recently rescued pit/lab mix, and I've found it in Muir Oaks. The receptionists were helpful and I was called in almost immediately. I saw Dr. Nelsen, who was great. She was so down to earth and explained everything so I understood. Great doctors, helpful staff I have had nothing but positive experiences at Muir Oaks so far. I have been a client for about 1 year and in that time all three of my pets have been seen. I have seen most of the doctors there, but Dr Nilsen is my current doctor.
