Steve & Crew were a big help and done the repairs needed at a cost saving price. I had had some recent transmission work done and the shop where I had this work done had damaged the cross over pipe and refused to repair it. They told me it was because it was old and rusty that they did not intend to fix it. Steve and his crew repaired it and got back to the way it should be.. Muffler Man(Steve+Rebecca) has an office that is professional but makes you feel very comfortable immediately. You know he is going to take care of your problem. I'm an 82 year old lady who drove in with no power steering and drove out using my finger to turn. I still don't know how he did it or could believe how reasonable my bill was. I will forever be grateful to him & his attractive & friendly wife. I highly recommend Steve & his family of mechanics . Ive been stressed out for the last few days about my muffler going bad thinking it was going to cost a arm and a leg. When I woke up this morning I decided its time to bite the bullet and get it fixed! I googled reviews and came across MM on plainfield. With great reviews I figured they got lucky and I would still have a outrages bill. NOPE!! $75.00 and a 30min later I was on the road sounding better then ever!! The owner hooked me up!!!!! Def will be back for in the future!! Thanks MM!!
GREAT JOB STEVE!! I came to Muffler Man to get my 1965 mustang tail pipes put on. Steve went why above and changed the mufflers and pipes around. To fit alot better. He had trouble with his welder, So he fixed his welder first so he could have nice welds on the pipes. Steve and Rebecca are very nice people.
GREAT SERVICE! – November crisis, muffler pipe came apart. On a Saturday morning they got me in and out in 20 minutes! VERY reasonable charge too! If you need muffler work, Steve & crew are the folks to see.
Silence is golden. – Had to bring my car back to MM because the exhaust system they had installed 2 months earlier was falling apart. They repaired it free of charge. That's not the problem. The problem was when the owner decided to share with me a story of another customer with the same problem. Apparently, the customer accused MM of not fixing his car correctly, and demanded that they replace the entire exhaust system. The Best for service and professionalism – I came in one cold morning with an exhaust leak on my 1994 Jeep Wrangler .The doors havent even opened when the owner came out asked what he could do to help me out and just a couple of minutes later had my Jeep up on the hoist fixing my exhaust...and also letting me know of a couple other issues I had with my vehicle...I will definitally be bringing my Jeep here again and I will be letting all of my brothers and sisters know in the Fire Dept that this is the shop too come to for re... read more
Fast Custom Work!! – I needed to have a small cutom job done that involved strechtcing some pieces of stainless steel tubing. Even though it was close to quitting time and I interrupted dinner - the owner Steve took me right in and got it done. Will definetly go back. If you need any custom work done give him a shout the are great folks to deal with.
Did Exactly What I asked for... They made it quiet! – I was told that my exhaust had a very simple problem with it and to go to muffler man to fix because they are reasonable. Well I went to the one on Plainfield and they were more than reasonable. I was afraid that I would go somewhere and they would look at me and go, "oh, hey this is woman who doesn't know anything we can make her replace her whole exhaust system and not even know that she doesn't have to!"
