It was a Friday, so not sure that was the reason, but the service was slow and we had to ask for more water and finally walk the bill up to the bar so we could pay. Food was very good and plentiful. Garlic fries very good. Shredded beef tacos 🌮 were delicious. I tasted the meat of the cheese steak sandwich (my daughter was having that) and I think I will order it next time. Try the burgers! They are amazing! It's such a great place hidden in the alley.
First time here for dinner and the food was great! I had the Ahi tuna tacos with peppercorn sauce, AMAZING! Staff was very attentive and polite. We were seated and waited on immediately. A place I'd definitely would visit again �
Muertos is simply solid food. You can't put a label on it. Certainly a Mexican twist, but what doesn't have that in Southern California. The tacos are better than any you'll find outside of smaller taco trucks, the burgers are the best in town. Always check the specials for the day, and the talent in Front of House is simply the best. The best fried mushrooms! The Hudson burger is really good too. Love the atmosphere.
This place is fitting for the downtown Bakersfield vibe. A great stop when taking a stroll down Wall Street Alley. Stop in and say hello to Sarah and the crew. The food is always mouthwatering.
Awful service, expensive burgers not again. Waited 15 minutes to be brought a sec glass of water ordered the Fernando Burger was told by the waitress it was spicy was not.
