close, but not perfect This shop opened in the Spring of 2006. They have a wide variety of pet supplies, but nothing that really jumps out and grabbed me. Many of their items seemed over priced, and not something a dog/cat person wants or needs. They do carry homemade doggie treats by Tiny Bubbles, which my pooches love, and offer training classes. Muddy Paws I recently took my dogs to Muddy Paws to be groomed because our old groomer (Just Dogs) closed. When I dropped them off there were 2 women behind the counter who didn't even acknowledge me for 5 minutes, I was willing to overlook this considering it was early in the morning and they could have been busy. Then I gave the groomer instructions on how I wanted the dogs to look, I would say they did the exact opposite. I was told they would be ready in 3-4 hours. Happy Pup Ive recently had my dog groomed at Muddy Paws and had the MOST PLEASANT experience.The GROOMER was VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE and VERY HELPFUL.She knew the exact cut i wanted and when i returned to pick up my dog it was BETTER than i EXPECTED.I RECOMMEND this place to EVERYONE.
A CUT ABOVE MOST I went to MUDDY PAWS for information about food concerns. My questions were answered both with knowledge of the product and put my mind at ease for my beloved Dog. The grooming was the best I have ever seen MY dog never looked so good. He did not want to leave the shop. I highly recommend MUDDY PAWS on Colley Avenue in Norfolk, va.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS HASSLE!!! We took our dog there before and it was fine. The haircut was okay. On Tuesday, Sept 28th I called that morning to get an appt. to have our dog groomed again. I got a message saying that they were "busy" and to leave a message and someone would call us back. No one called! So on Friday, Oct.3rd I went there in person with my dog to see if we could get in that morning. Our sweet puppy LOVES it here! He loves playing with his friends both in daycare as well as in boarding! Carla is also an amazing groomer!! We love how she cuts our good boy’s hair!
