Pork Jowls were good. Lamb cheek was in a tasty gravy. Could've done withhold the bone marrow, it wasn't anything special, aside for the pickle twist. The crabcakes with beet salad were a great pairing. The service was good and so were the drinks. My 3 stars are reflective of the similarity of the food scene, seems to be doing the all the same components.
Great ambience - once you're inside. I'm new to Oakland and the immediate neighborhood looked a bit sketchy. Decent choice of cocktails, beer, wine. For food, small plates that will leave you hungry. Also, very pricey. Do the math.
We were there on Tue. for a family birthday party, dozen of us and we had a wonderful time food was great. Our waiter was very friendly and on top of things. Will tell a lot of people to give it a try, and I would love to go back too.
Cool atmosphere with DJ spinning tunes, great cocktails (Mua Negroni is sexy), food isn’t bad. I’m looking forward to my next visit.
