Seriously frustrated. While my fiance and I are going to stick it out until our lease is up next July (2013), we're really wishing that we had decided to move out this summer. In terms of maintenance-- you can put in a request and if someone does show, it will be weeks, or months, before they do. Both summers we have had issues with the central air conditioning, and in the winter we had issues with the heat. Pete I've rented from them for five- years and am looking forward too not dealing with them . Had historically spoken well of them and suggested positive recommendation in past. That positive has waivered to the negative however, the consistently 'friendly'maintenance team is that ..a team of increduously undertrained people that know how to back away from actually fixing problems.
Blech. My fiance and I rent a one bedroom on St. Paul street and thought the apartment would work for the time being. Everything seemed to be ok at first until I started waking up with rashes...soon to find out the place was infested with bed bugs! Even other renters in the building admitted to this and told me that they reported it only to be blamed for the infestation. We wound up taking matters into our own hands. Since i've seen roaches and mice thanks to my cats drawing them out and killing them. Disgusting. Also, our s... read more
fantastic rental agency I have been renting from Fisher for a year now, and they are far and away the best company I have ever rented from. Their apartments are reasonably priced, and they are amazingly quick to respond to maintenance requests. I recently signed on for another year, which is typical for them--they have many multi-year renters. After years of sub-par and downright idiotic landlords, they are a breath of fresh air. I recommend them to everyone I know looking for apartments!
Great Service and excellent staff I have been renting apartments downtown Baltimore for about 5 years, I have been with Mount Vernon Properties for two years. The service you get is excellent, from the office staff down to the maintenance dept., really a five star rental agent.They have some great looking and good size apartments. I would recommend them to anyone.
