I had the good fortune to have a lunch meeting in Ms. Gilmore’s Tea room and the food was amazing! I got the chicken salad sandwich and it was so good with a sweet honey flavor! When they brought the dessert tray I had a hard time deciding so I took two desserts home. Three layer strawberry cake and the best lemon bar I’ve ever had—I didn’t get to shop but will definitely be back!!!!!
Mrs. Gilmores is a beautiful store full of amazing wonderful things. The bakery is full of yummy unique treats with a hostess whom is just as brilliant as she is beautiful. The tea room is delightful. . An amazing experience with wonderful foods prepared in the cleanest kitchen by some amazing fast cooks. I had the pleasure of the experience of serving food at this wonderful establishment for about a month.
This is my absolutely, hands down, all time favorite place. I drive 5 hours and at least 6 times a year, to spend an afternoon in this magical place. Sometimes my family, that lives near St. Louis, drive down to join me. I tell my friends, this is a must visit if you are anywhere near SPRINGFIELD!
I come here for a visit when I feel like I need a treat. Never disappointed with the food, and the service is impeccable. They make their macarons from scratch and they are to-die-for.
So many unique things to see! The boutique has my favorite perfumes � I can’t wait to go back for my Christmas shopping!
My father-in-law and I ate lunch at Ms. Gilmores Tea Room yesterday. The atmosphere is whimsical, historical and friendly. The sage mushroom soup was perfect. The desserts are amazing. We will be back. Our waitress, JoLisa was a delight and very attentive.
