There have been completely inaccurate and slanderous comments posted by a couple of people about the owners of this company. I can tell you that I’ve known the owners and their families for close to 30 years and I can say without hesitation that they’re two of the nicest, most open-minded people I know who have a very diverse circle of friends. Please question what you hear. This is a great business that deserves your support! All of the ice cream (the Dewie drops/bonbons are my personal favorite) is delicious!

I live in Napa and had purchased Mr. Dewie's at my local Whole Foods several times, as my sister-in-law is lactose intolerant. She loved it and so did all the other ice cream lovers in my family, including my young daughter. We are all super excited to see that we can now go to the movies in Albany and cross the street to have a fantastic cone. I will have to stock up with pints when there, as we can't buy this nut milk dream in Napa anymore... Lemon cookie, new addition, DELICIOUS!
But the owner is a homophobe and the cones are not vegan... Not going
I LOVE Mr. Dewey's. It's so creamy and delicious. Wish we could get it up North!
Mr. Dewie's cashew milk ice cream is absolutely the best vegan ice cream I've ever had ~ just as good, if not better than, dairy ice cream! I especially love the Orange chocolate chip flavor, as it reminds me fondly of the Swenson's Swiss orange chip ice cream I enjoyed as a child. Hoping this will be back in stores soon!
Mr. Dewey's is the best ever...I even like it better than cow's milk ice cream. It's so creamy and smooth. The cashew base itself must have a delicate and subtle flavor because it doesn't mask the full flavor of the delicious chocolate, vanilla or coffee. It's amazing!
Mmmmmmm! So good! I was sceptical, but it really hit the spot. This makes it easy to go gluten and dairy free.
