Had so much fun last night drinking tea (London Fog so delish) and coffee with friends. The light show was icing on the cake and everything is right on the lake!
It's fascinating it's beautiful it's eye-catchingoh my goodness. I mean like seriously it's remarkable wonderful phenomenal I have so many words because let me tell you something those lights are beautiful
This was our first time going to their Christmas light show and it was amazing! The kids had a blast and sang along to every song. To top it off, they have the BEST hot chocolate I've ever had. I can't wait to go back.
The lights were pretty. It was pretty crowded, had to wait in line about 10 minutes for coffee. Mozarts special $5. Large hot cocoa $? Strawberry cheesecake $? Turtle cheesecake $? Bottle of water. $? (Nothing was labeled with prices except the coffee) $23 for these items all together. The turtle cheesecake was horrible. Crust was way overdone. Filling had no flavor. We went for the light show. Our friends made it passed the yellow tape before us, but we weren't allowed to join them. We had to wait for the whole show before reuniting. That would be fine, although the gentleman guarding the yellow tape let others in while we stood there. By "we" I mean two adults and three small children. Once on the deck, we did find a seat at a picnic table, but by this time we now had to wait another 45 minutes for the next round of lights. The lights were wonderful. The light show sounded like it would be a fun evening activity. I knew it would be crowded but was not expecting poor customer service. There isn't a menu online but thought we could figure it out when we got here. No menus for desserts - just everything in display cases and not labeled. Server was done for the night and not enjoying the need to answer my husband's questions. However, the cheesecake is really good and the salted caramel and peppermint hot chocolates are tasty.
