Amazing! From the second you walk in the door you feel the electric vibe. The service is excellent and the food was delicious. I had the cheddar biscuit tots and the chicken and waffles. It was magnificent! I can't wait to return and try the meatloaf. It looked sublime!
I have always enjoyed Moxie but was a little disappointed with my meal NYE! I ordered the Chicken and Waffles. One of the waffles was practically burnt and the chicken was very crispy. My previous meals have been great but not as satisfied with my most recent visit. Also, the menu was limited for NYE which was unexpected. But I will return...I really like the atmosphere at Moxie.
I came here way so often and rarely got disappointed. The only appetizer I didn't enjoy much was the calamari since they were thinly slices and I could hardly tasted anything out of it. Other than that, I love all the dishes I've been trying, especially the sear scallops with three-cheese grits and the duck breast. Chicken waffle and the meatloaf are killers too.
The drinks are definitely worth the $$
I attended a private party and, even though we were quite large, the service was incredible! The Fried Calamari + Cauliflower was wonderful! Crisp and tender at the same time. The Cheddar Cheese Tots and Cheese Curds looked awesome but I try to limit my dairy because of lactose intolerance. My husband loved the curds but the gentleman on my right didn't like them. We attended my husbands company Christmas party and it was amazing. They reserved the entire 2nd floor and patio for us, had tons of wait staff that never let your glass get empty, and the food was served family style! We had chicken and waffles, a shrimp pasta, filet mignon, and mac and cheese. Appetizers, starter salads, and an amazing cremé brulet to end the night. We flew in from Arizona and were definitely not disappointed! Great job to all and kudos to the Chef.
Awesome as usual! Everyone in our party loved it!
