Worst experience ever! The ER doctor was awful with my baby boy & had horrible bedside manner, not to mention he wasn't very sharp. He sent us home when my little boy's oxygen saturations was 85. Thankfully we weren't dumb parents and took him to his Peditrician office a few hours later and they admitted us to a good hospital. They wouldn't let us leave the office without putting oxygen on our baby to the hospital. He was so sick & dehydrated, yet the doctor at MV told us he was fine. My niece took her 12 month old to the hospital it was dr. Royal and all he did was an x-ray breathing treatment and sent him home. The next night me and my dad took him back and they clean his nose with a suction gave him a breathing treatment plus kept an eye on his oxygen because it was dropping. The doctor that day told us to do breathing treatments and bring him over if we need to get his nose sectioned out. But out of all the doctors that work there Dr Dinkins and Dr Jones are the best doctors There.
We were told to be there by 0600 the staff did not arrive until almost 5 after 6. The Doctor that was to do the procedure did not arrive until 0700. The nursing staff was awesome and once he got there so was the Dr.
It was given excellent care and attention. It was an out if network facility but I felt well taken care of
Matt.. The person who does ct scans is awesome.. He needs a raise!! Also the student nurse in the ER named Janette is great.. You should hire her!
I'll tell you there is one nurse that's in the icu that is rude as can be no bedside manners at all she is rude and should not be nurse she only cares for her self no bedside only herself she should not be a nurse very rude the doctor put me on a pca pump she acts like I'm a bad person she shoved a qtip up my nose so rudly said it was done with everyone she's just rude yells at. Me for no reason she needs a course in manners she acted like I'm a burrdan
The labor and delivery department is small with few staff. My experience was awful. One of the head nurses was extremely rude and was a know-it-all with my family members. Mistake after mistake was made which made my delivery a lot harder. Nobody took responsibility and nobody apologized for the mistakes that were made. I did not feel safe, and I felt like a lot of the staff was insensitive to my situation. Not the experience I had hoped for. I felt my entire c-section because I was not medicated properly.
