After reading the negative reviews we decided to still patronize this establishment. Although we didn't have high expectations, we were greeted by a very friendly hostess upon arrival. Customer Service was impeccable throughout the evening. My husband enjoyed the trout. I ordered the salmon but it was too salty for my palate. We had dinner there this evening- it was so delicious we are coming back tomorrow for our wedding anniversary!!!! Great service, fantastic food, fun atmosphere... what more can you ask for ?

We stumbled on Mountain Standard our last night in Vail. The menu was different and unexpected - a pleasant surprise. But the food was excellent. MS should make everyone's short list of must-eat restaurants.
