I am new to town, I went to open an account, and was denied because I do not have utility bills or a lease with my name and address on it. I am living off grid on land that is paid off, a tiny house that is paid off, I am using solar energy and I have my own water. I have a local P.O box yet was denied an account. Shared branch members BEWARE. You are better off paying an atm or cashback fee at any other business. The staff is by far the worst the San Luis valley has to offer you. The cashiers are incredibly rude and very clearly judgmental. They create an overall an unwelcoming, unprofessional atmosphere. Bank elsewhere.
