Hard to park Mountain Peoples Market has been updated in the past few years, and it seems to be brighter and cleaner. They have a decent selection on gluten free and organic products, but not a very wide variety of products. The parking is terrible. If there is a place, it is hard to get back into traffic. (Park up Fayette Street and walk down). The prices are fair.
Great selection of organic foods They have a decent selection of food that is very healthy. It's all natural stuff and the prices are slightly high. The parking is really bad but the store is decent. The sales people are friendly enough. The store is small and can be packed at times. PROS: Nice grocery store CONS: Limited parking
Not very friendly atmosphere although having the plus of having all organic products. the place is small with very hard place to find a parking lot. The people there are not friendly at all. they hardly answered my questions. I didn't like the atmosphere but it sure looked clean.
It's your baby I've been going to the "co-op" MPM for about 15 years. It most definitely has the best produce in town! The muffins are just a little too tasty and they're always willing to make a fresh pot of coffee on the spot. I'm a grass roots co-op plume. If you want something, they'll order it and I think they're hard working, aim to please kind of folk. A town needs a co-op...it's a love thing! Go there and get some greens. I miss Ruthanne and Lucy :(
Decent selection of organic foods Mountain people's has very little parking and it's in a bad location. It also has a vegetarian restaurant attached to it. The store is small but has a decent selection. The food is always fresh. The employees are nice enough. The food is expensive, but most organic foods are. PROS: Healthy food CONS: Expensive
