I had a long 25 hour active labor & ended up transferred to the hospital due to higher blood pressure. So, my birth was not here, tho, I tried. I liked the midwives especially Vanessa. She was awesome! Very competent and patient. I appreciated the naturalistic views & my choices that I could make for our healthcare. Such a wonderful experience!! Deciding to go to birthing center was a big choice for me and im glad i picked mountain modwifery. I was having a water birth but had to get out because the cord was wrapped twice around my baby's neck. My midwife gina was so calm and collective when talking me through the whole getting out of tub and everything. I wasnt panicked at all and knew i was in good hands. Thanks for such a great experience!!❤
MMC provided the most memorable, precious, peaceful, natural, thoughtful care for my labor and birth. Vanessa was hands-off when I wanted her to be, and so supportive and directive when I needed it. She was the definition of empowering. I am so grateful I made the decision to birth at MMC. For anyone considering MMC for their prenatal care and birth, you will be in the BEST hands.
Had my daughter with them back on Christmas Eve 2011 and my whole experience, maternity care, classes and labor was Amazing!! Loved EVERYTHING about my experience at MMC and wish I could have more babies with them!
I loved all the care and honesty the women there have for their patients. I plan to have all future deliveries there too.
The information my wife and I recieved here has been invaluable. We chose to have our first here and loved every moment we spent with them. There were some complications with our birth that forced us out of the birthing center and throughout the process they had the child and her best interests in mind. I cannot say enough good about this place!
