For the past 20 plus years a trip to Gatlinburg always included a few "must do" things; dinner at The Peddler, another dinner at The Best Italian and breakfast at The Mountain Lodge. No waiting in lines for overpriced pancakes for us, we wanted real, homemade breakfast foods...eggs, grits, biscuits and gravy, French toast and, OF COURSE a homemade cinnamon roll!! Just a good place to go.......French toast with homemade bread.....homemade syrup(that was written up in Southern Living)......oven baked chicken.....Lima beans.......Omelettes......good bacon......chicken salad....looking forward to reading the quote of the day! If you missed this place......I am truly sorry! Everything was wonderful.........the cinnamon rolls. I am sad! I am very sad for the Ron and Jennifer......for food to be this good you must put your heart and soul into the place!

We are really saddened by the loss so many places there and our go to place for breakfast when we come to Gatlinburg. Best of wishes to everyone there and we hope you rebuild. You guys are a must stop when we come up there, you have been in our GPS for years! Our hearts also go out to all the families who have lost so much and to all the original mom and pop businesses that make Gatlinburg such a great place to visit.
