RecommendedBest outdoor shop I've ever frequented. Price points are on par with REI, but the service is over the moon and is beyond comparison! You can't go wrong with backcountry ski set-up or camping/hiking gear with this shop. Jim & Elaine (owners) are incredibly knowledgeable and then you add in staff members such as Ron (climbing guru), Matt (skis!) and Kate (all-around) and you're going to be set up for whatever outdoor endeavor that interests you. Also ... Telefestivus rocks!

Ron and Jim helped me pick out a back country ski set up. Complete package, boots, bindings, and skis. They were so great to work with! It's always hard buying new equipment for a sport that you really have no idea about. I never one time felt pushed to purchase up, or buy something more expensive. There were options in every price range.
