For the price relative to the other options in the area this is what I expected. A few key take aways - easy and friendly check in. They use real keys and charge a fee if you lose it. - pool and hot tub adequate but not overly fancy or perfectly maintained. - the noise is an issue. Almost all reviews discussed this so we knew what we were getting into. Stayed here thinking it was a cute boutique hotel in downtown Calistoga, however, upon arriving to the hotel, and given our room key, we discovered that this was not worth the value. We had requested a queen mattress and, upon looking at the bed, it was clearly a full mattress at best. I took it upon myself to look at the tags for the sheets, and came to discover that the mattress protector was way bigger than the actual mattress itself thus proving it was not the right size for the bed. We only spent one quick night here. However, we loved the juxtaposition of classic older architecture mixed with modern and comfortable touches. The breakfast delivery, although simple, is all we really want in the morning and adds a nice flair. However, where this property really shines is the hospitality of the staff. We plan to return for two evenings at the end of the month for our anniversary. We're looking forward to enjoying the bikes, dinner on property, and just enjoying the property in general.

Perfect 1 night stop on our Northern California road trip. The only issue was having to carry suitcases upstairs, no elevator that I saw. However, loved our stay! Room is awesome!
