Maybe you should look into patient care ! Experience this week is disgusting to say the least, when did you turn over your patient care to "Social Workers"?? I can’t say enough good things about this hospital, the nursing staff, the patient care staff, the patient advocates, dieticians, custodians and especially my surgeon Dr. Daniel Haller and his team. I went in through the emergency room and was so fortunate Dr. Haller was on call! He did a through evaluation and took me right to surgery. He and his team came to check on me every day! I have never been treated so poorly in my entire life. I went in with trouble breathing, tightness and pain in my chest and neck. All symptoms of a heart attack. From the second I walked in the door the intake nurse acted as if I was a bother to her. And it didn't stop there. The doctor I saw was extremely rude, hardly listened to what was wrong, and acted as if I was a bother to her as well. The xray tech was friendly enough but still rude. Long Beach hospital should stay it was. south Nassau bunch of butchers
48 hours in a hallway with my 86 year old mom. She was completely ignored no meds or food. I had to give her meds that I snuck in. And bought food from outside. She was in a room when she first got there why they moved her to a hallway and put someone else is beyond me! I would love to know the reason ? Can anyone respond to this neglect! Only when I lost my mind did she have her vitals checked and I was asked to go over meds. It is an advance Urgent Center that provides limited services. They transfer you to Oceanside via ambulance for more care. Beware!!!they will send you a bill for $700 for the DOCTOR’s services on top of the Hospital bill 👎👎👎👎👎
