What a wonderful piece of America! Arrived at 9:30 and it was crowded but after all it is July and prime vacation season. The people working in the gift shop and the restaurant were friendly and fast. I'd recommend staying for the night show if your schedule permits.

We reached Mt Rushmore after driving continuously for ten hrs from Yellowstone. It was overnight driving crossing mountains and valleys encountering wildlife on the way. After reaching our destination Mt Rushmore we found our journey was worth of it. The sculptures are amazing how can so perfect figures be made on such a height. We salute the sculptors and the whole department taking care of this historical monument. Thank you for this wonderful experience.
For those who have not visited Mt. Rushmore please do so. It's worth the travel! My sons loved their visit.. Will be back with more friends and family.
Mount Rushmore, you should have it on your Bucket List
10 dollars per car good for a year what a bargin to see such an amazing monument. When you first come around the corner and first catch sight of it literally makes you gasp.
Every time I go to Montana I have to stop here the wonder of Mount Rushmore is still there.
