The President trail walk is must do, visitor center nice. No problem with parking.
Wonderful experience every time we bring our family and friends to Mount Rushmore. Memories for a lifetime, each generation wants to share with the next. It always amazes us how well organized the traffic/people are moved through every day.
We went to the night lighting ceremony and I thought it was very patriotic and everyone should come see it at least once cuz this is my first time seeing it and I'm 44 only thing that I thought about my first thought was It was kind of small but maybe it was during the night but I love looking at it and and being there ,so my daughter loved it too.
Americas finest national monument in my humble opinion. It was seriously breathtaking to experience this national treasure. If you visit...... make sure to venture around the main plaza to some of the other view points.
The monument and displays inside were AMAZING! What was not amazing was being told to pull over upon exiting the park and harassed the park rangers. We were on our motorcycles and questioned as to whether we were intoxicated or had any marijuana in our possession. This was profiling and harassment. Shame on them for ruining our experience.
My first time there and it was awesome! Highly recommend
So, maybe I teared up a little bit in the flag ceremony. Enough said.
