I think anyone that is close by should stop and see it if possible. I thought they were bigger, and they are big but not like I figured they would be. Lots of tourist trap stuff down the mountain from them, but that is just part of it. 62 and older is half price at $5.00
So beautiful!! Much better than I imagined, can't believe the detail in each face, the night time ceremony is quite the experience too!! Truly makes you thankful for living in our great country!!
One of the best men made structures in the world . Everyone should visit.

We went twice on this trip. Once for the evening lighting and the other during the day. The scenery, rock formation, trail, etc are as exciting as the monument itself.
