RecommendedHave visited Rushmore at least 5 times, never gets old...its history, Borglum’s vision and planning, those images from so many angles on site or from the area roads, etc. The entire Black Hills area is a treasure with these inspirational faces at the center along with Crazy Horse not far away!

Ten bucks gets you parking and elbow to elbow with hordes of red state tourists. Lovely views from Iron Mountain trail/pass/ road.
