RecommendedNurses, Doctors, general staff are excellent. Was there twice, both times awesome treatment. Second time they brought me back from cardiac arrest in the ER.
I was treated here after being blown up in Afghanistan. However Mount Nittany coded my treatment wrong. I’m still on Active duty and use Tricare insurance. Tricare has advised me not to make payment because of a contract between mount nittany and Tricare that says they can not bill active duty personal, this is also a requirement under federal law. However Mount nittany refuse to correct their error and has sent the bill to collection service. I can’t stress enough, only use this place as a absolutely last resort!!
I have asked three nurses this morning to look into getting discharged. Each has said that she would talk to the doctor in charge, and each has simply walked away to ignore me. This is not good customer service.

Each and every one of them was courteous, professional, and made my moms visit as comfortable as they possibly could. The kindness we all received will never be forgotten. Just had a baby boy there on Wednesday and my nurses were phenomenal! Collette and Jen were two I had mostly and they made me not want to leave haha they truly are doing what they are Meant to do... this is our son Walker James- thanks girls and staff for making it a wonderful experience.
I had a horrible experience at Mount Nittany. I gave the hospital the opportunity to apologize and I would have let it go however they took no responsibility which leads me to say if you are sick please find a different ER.
