pay attention to your duties! ER left an IV port in my 90 yr old MOM! When confronted, they said it was no big deal! This hospital is pathetic

Took over 4 hours to be seen in the ER. Why call it ER if nothing is treated as an emergency.

This hospital seriously needs to be shut down. They would probably let you die in the waiting room for emergency before they began to care for you. As long as they can add more money to the bill. You know, those hidden fees. Do not go to this hospital. You will waste all your time and never get answers.

If you ever get sick never go to any Mt Carmel hospital!!! My mom had surgery done for kidney stones( her 12th surgery from them) they refuse to get all the stones out. Then a day after she’s septic because of the surgery. I hear a lawsuit coming their way. How does that make any sense? It doesn’t. My Carmel has my moms blood on their hands. They better do something about it soon.

Our four year old was screaming in pain while holding his lower abdomen, which had both my wife and I worried sick. We told them he couldn't stand or walk on his own without showing clear signs of pain and the nurse insisted on making him stand for weight and measurements. He screamed the whole time through, only for us to be told we were facing a six hour wait at best. We left and took our child elsewhere to be seen, but overall the place was terrible. The waiting room is cramped, dingy and there is no real place to park th... read more

I've been sitting here in the ER with my mom for almost 9 hours. Squad brought her in. She was put into a room within an hour, but I think it's only because they think she's contagious. Now, after five minutes short of 9 hours they're moving her to another ER ROOM. They already said they're admitting her. What's taking so long. Worst part is her new nurse, Wind, Rain, whatever the name is, won't even come to help her when she pushes the call button. I'm physically unable to SAFELY help her to the restroom, and she can barely... read more

I got brought here in an ambulance because I threw my back out. As soon as they got me in the er a nurse said I wasn't an emergency and forced me to sit in a wheelchair in the waiting room. Thankfully another nurse saw how bad I was hurting and magically found a bed for me to go to. then it took almost 2 hours to get help to the restroom or pain relief. I was there for 6 hours and asked for water twice which I never received. not a good experience at all

Cannot recommend Mount Carmel East’s Labor & Delivery, NICU and Mother/Infant areas enough! Every single nurse and staff member took care of me and my baby so well and were so special to be with during our time in the hospital! They truly made us feel at home.. Will always return simply for the people who work here!
