During our stay at the Motto by Hilton Washington DC City Center from March 13–15, 2026, we experienced a very serious security issue that completely ruined our visit. Around 1:00 a.m. on the night of March 14, a man opened our locked room door using a hotel key card and walked into our room while my partner and I were asleep. I’m quite disappointed with my experience at Motto by Hilton. While the hotel itself maintains a high community standard and the overall quality seems good, the booking information on Booking.com is very confusing and, in my case, misleading. During the booking process, the offer indicated that breakfast could be included for an additional $25. Naturally, this suggested a buffet-style breakfast option available for that price. This is My second stay at this location and it'll be the hotel I stay in next Time. Wonderful customer service, excellent atmosphere, prime location in Chinatown and I always feel safe. The neighborhood is thriving and growing.
Great location in Chinatown. Very small rooms so be advised. No fridge or microwave in the rooms. It's a bed and bathroom with a TV. High priced for the size and amenities.
